Google Voice; The end of an era or a sign of what is to come?
I am torn by today’s topic because about a week ago I was thinking about the topic of my next blog entry, as inspired by some who have written in, but then on Tuesday, I noticed something, something more pressing, more disturbing, something disruptive to my normal day. So here it is in all of its ugly truth, This also relates to the upcoming Free Phone calls to USA and Canada which part 2 is on the way soon. I have at least two more time sensitive posts to make before that. Here is the first of those two.
As a user of Google voice for a while now as I have mentioned here in this blog, I always used google voice for FREE SMS messages to Mexico. You may ask …What? Yes, Google never said so, it was not widely publicised and as of tuesday of last week, the death of free SMS messages to Mexico has come to an end! It would be silly to say I did not gey my moneys worth because over the years since making the discovery it has saved me hundreds and perhaps thousands of Dollars.
I hope that this is not a sign of more changes to come with Google voice.
I ask the folks at Google to consider giving us this perk back. It was definately a usefuil tool. Also, if anyone know what happened to it, please by all means, lert me know.
